Anniversary Cruise - Part the Second

Here is part two of the Anniversary Cruise for Friday's festival!

Anniversary Cruise

By Mr. Freeze

Day Two - Sunday

Becca woke up with the sun shining in her eyes. She looked out and saw the trail of churned water that the ship was leaving behind. Around her, people were eating their breakfast and paying her little attention. Becca stood up and tried to keep her balance. The seas were fine yet she still had to find her sea-legs.

Becca trudged back to her room and then composed herself before going in.

"Becca!" exclaimed Amber as she came in.

Amber was still naked and sitting on the edge of the bed watching television.

"Did you get lucky last night?" asked Amber.

"No, but you did," said Becca, venom in her voice.

"Yes I did," said Amber with a grin.

"That's why I didn't come back," said Becca, her anger rising. "Didn't you even hear me come in or were you too busy getting your brains fucked out by that college boy?"

"Oh shit," said Amber. "I'm sorry."

"Maybe we need to discuss when you can be bringing men back here and when you can't so I don't have to sleep on a chair on the Lido Deck again."

"You slept outside all night?" said Amber with surprise.

"No, I was in the South Beach Club, towards the back of the ship. I'm sure the guys working in the pizza restaurant had fun watching me sleep all night."

"Becca, I'm so sorry."

"We have to work something out here if you are going to be bringing men back. I don't want to say you can't bring men back but I paid for this cabin too."

"Well if I know you're gonna be gone at a certain time?"

"That would be fine," said Becca.

"You really should have said something. I would have sent him away," said Amber.

"It looked like you were too into things to wanna stop," said Becca with a grin.

"So what happened with you and Dave last night?" said Amber.

"I left him at the bar," said Becca suddenly frowning again.

"Oh?"

"He sees his ex-wife in me," said Becca. "I don't need a relationship where I'm always being measured against some standard."

"I'm proud of you sweetie," said Amber with a smile. "A few years ago you would have been so desperate for a relationship you wouldn't have cared."

It was the way Becca had always operated. Her self-esteem was so low that she would go out with any man that would give her the time of day, often leading to disastrous consequences.

"Problem is that we still have to see him anytime we go to the dining room," said Becca.

"I can talk to the maitre de if you like and have us moved to another table," offered Amber.

"Nah, we'll see how things go tonight. Maybe he won't even show up."

"You still have a crush on him," said Amber with a wink.

"Well he IS very good looking," said Becca with a giggle.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dave was in a funk when he woke up. He had slipped back into his deep depression after Becca left him hanging in the bar the night before. He woke up with a new reason to be depressed though. He was depressed because he was sick of being depressed. He knew he had to get his life back on track and start living. Having Becca walk out on him the night before didn't do much to bolster his confidence in getting that life back on track.

Becca was right though. He was primarily interested in her because of her resemblance to Lisa. Becca had him dead to rights and there was nothing he could have said to stop her. The problem was that he was still intrigued by this woman. For the brief moments that he was with her he felt alive again. He wanted that feeling back more than anything.

Dave trudged out to the Lido deck and grabbed a plate of food from the outdoor buffet. Eggs, bacon and toast were all he could stomach at the time. He grabbed some orange juice from a Ukrainian woman pushing around a drink cart and then settled back in his chair to look out at the passing ocean. The ship was in the middle of the ocean. There was no land in site anywhere. Suddenly Dave felt the familiar twinges of being alone. He hated being alone. Dave was a people person before Lisa left his life. Now all he did was shut people out of his life.

Dave looked out over the tables scattered around the Lido deck buffet. Every table had at least two people. He was the only one that was alone. Many of the people at the tables were happy couples chattering away happily or snuggling in against one another, yet he was alone. Then Dave saw a gorgeous blonde in an extremely skimpy bikini walk to the buffet. He looked her up and down and realized who it was. It was Becca's friend Amber and she was alone!

Dave got up and walked over to Amber, interrupting her as she was taking a large spoonful of eggs.

"Amber!" exclaimed Dave.

"Oh hi Dave," said Amber with a smile.

"Where's Becca?" said Dave. He sounded desperate. Too desperate.

"She usually skips breakfast. She's still back in the cabin."

"You wouldn't be willing to tell me the cabin number?" said Dave, grasping for straws.

"Actually no," said Amber as she grabbed a couple of croissants and placed them on top of the pile of food on her plate.

"Things didn't go well with us last night and I want to apologize to her," said Dave.

Amber looked around for an empty table and sighed. "Where are you sitting?"

Dave pointed to the table and then followed her to the table.

Amber took her time to arrange all of her food and then daintily unrolled her silverware from its napkin cocoon.

"Listen Dave, I'm gonna be really blunt with you," said Amber. "Becca is the best friend I have in the world. I have seen her go through a series of bad relationships with abusive men and people that don't love her for her. When she walked out on you last night she took a step in not repeating those mistakes. I don't want to have to pick up the pieces in another broken relationship of hers. She means too much to me."

"You are a really good friend protecting her like you are," said Dave with a hint of defeat in his voice.

"I would do anything for her," said Amber.

"You know she was right last night," said Dave.

Amber gave him a puzzled look as she shoved some eggs in her mouth.

"She said that I was attracted to her because of her resemblance to Lisa. She was right last night. Not today though. Today I'm attracted to her because I realized that when I'm with her I feel alive again."

Amber finished chewing on a piece of croissant and then cleared her throat in a ladylike fashion. "Dave, she is not a very strong person. She can't handle a relationship with someone that has tons of emotional baggage like you do."

"That's the thing. If I was with her I would throw that baggage right over the side of the ship. I'm sick of being depressed. I'm sick of not living."

"Can I ask what happened when Lisa died?" said Amber.

Dave nodded and then began speaking. Amber carefully appraised Dave as he spoke about the accident in which Lisa was killed. He explained how he blamed her for so long for leaving him alone. Dave spoke with no emotion whatsoever. His tears for his lost bride were spent.

"I believe you when you say you are ready to move on," said Amber.

"Excuse me?"

"I asked you that question for a reason. I wanted to watch your reaction as you talked about the accident."

"What are you, a psychologist?" said Dave.

"Actually no, but I do have a degree in psychology."

Dave looked at her dumbfounded.

"Yes blonde bimbo models like me actually find time to get smart sometimes," said Amber with a smile.

"Sorry," said Dave.

"It's ok," said Amber. "Not many people think that models can be smart. Becca is even smarter than I am actually."

"Listen, she isn't gonna try to avoid me for the rest of the cruise now, is she?"

"Not if you go up to room 1105 and talk to her," said Amber with a huge smile.

"Thank you!" said Dave as he bolted from his chair.

"I appreciate this!" he yelled as he ran up the stairs to the panorama deck.

He quickly made his way inside and ran up another flight of stairs. When he got upstairs he looked around for cabins but there was only the Nautica Spa in front of him.

"How do I get to room 1105?" asked Dave of one of the girls working the spa.

"You came up the wrong set of stairs," said the girl. "You can cut through the gym and go out that way."

"Thanks," said Dave as he bolted through the Men's locker room and off to the gym.

It didn't take long for Dave to find the cabin. He paused in front of the door and then knocked timidly.

"Who is it?" said a voice on the other side of the door.

"It's Dave."

"Wait a minute please," said the voice, obviously it was Becca.

After a couple of minutes Becca opened the door dressed in a white terrycloth robe with the Carnival logo on it.

"Hi Becca."

"What can I do for you?" said Becca with a hint of anger in her voice.

"I wanted to apologize to you," said Dave. "You were one hundred percent right last night. I was initially attracted to you because of your resemblance to Lisa."

"Thank you for apologizing Dave. I can't say it's gonna change anything though."

"I know," said Dave. "But you see, that was last night. I realized something else this morning. I realized that when I'm with you, like right now, I feel alive again."

"Dave, you are basically saying the same thing I said last night. I don't want to be the one to pick up the pieces of your broken life. I'm sorry."

"Let me finish then," said Dave.

"Ok," said Becca. Her expression softened slightly.

"Becca, I'm sick of not living. I'm sick of being depressed. I want that part of life behind me and I want to be like the old Dave. The old Dave was fun to be around. The old Dave was the life of the party. The old Dave was loving and caring and would do anything for the woman he loved. I'm not asking for a commitment from you. I'm not asking for your love. Please, just spend some time with me on this cruise and get to know me better. Get to know the old Dave. The old Dave wants to know you better."

Becca was in shock. Never had a man told her that she mattered to him like Dave had just done. She fought back with every ounce of willpower the urge to start crying. Instead she wrapped her arms around Dave and hugged him tightly. Dave hesitated at first but then wrapped his arms around her. He relished her warmth from having just come out of the shower.

"I really need to get ready for the day," said Becca. "What are your plans for the day?"

"I really don't have any," said Dave. "I was just gonna wing it. Then I ran into Amber and she eventually told me how to find you."

"Oh, I'm impressed. You actually got my room number out of her? You didn't hurt her did you?"

Dave chuckled and shook his head. "No, she did give me the third degree though."

"I believe it," said Becca with a giggle. "Why don't I meet you down at the Capitol Bar in an hour?"

"Which bar is that?" said Dave, still unfamiliar with the ship.

"The one at the bottom of the Atrium. Level three."

"OK," said Dave. "Drinks at nine in the morning at the Capitol Bar."

Becca giggled and then punched his arm playfully. "Get out of here you big galoot."

Dave smiled at her and then turned to return to his room. His heart was racing as he returned to his room, further proof that he was indeed alive.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Do you mind if I join you?" said a tall, dark and handsome twenty-something man in a thick British accent. He wore nothing, save a blue Speedo suit and a pair of sandals.

"I guess not," said Amber casually. She was used to having men join her for meals like this. It was the reason she often dined alone. It was the best way to catch a man.

"I cannot believe someone as lovely as yourself is dining alone," said the man.

Amber had heard the line a million times but it never got old. Especially from a man as handsome as this one was. She casually appraised his body. His muscles rippled underneath his dark, tanned skin. A light covering of dark hair coated his chest. Then she looked at his face. His face was angular, manly in every way. Then she looked into his eyes and her breath caught in her throat. He had the most gorgeous baby blue eyes she had ever seen.

"I hope I'm not imposing on you by sitting here," said the man. His voice was rhythmic, inviting. Amber felt a tingle between her legs.

"My name is Amber," she stammered.

"John," said the man as he put down the silverware he just picked up and offered his hand.

Amber shook his hand lightly and resumed her staring at this Adonis in front of her.

"So what is a pretty girl like you doing here all alone?" said John casually.

"I'm here with my best friend actually. She just doesn't eat breakfast as a rule. What about you? I should be asking you the same question."

"I'm here with my daughter actually," said John. "I just dropped her off at Camp Carnival for awhile."

Amber's heart sank a little. A man with a daughter wouldn't have time for her.

"How old is your daughter?"

"Eight," said John with a smile. "Cute little bugger too. Her name is Emily."

"That's a gorgeous name. What about her mother? Where is she?"

"She ran out six months after giving birth to her. Left me alone with her. I really don't mind except for the fact that she has to grow up without a mother. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Amber leaned back in her chair a bit, disarmed by the fact that she knew this wasn't going to go anywhere.

"Where are you from?" asked Amber, now making small talk. "You have a wonderful accent."

"England. Manchester to be exact."

"Never been to Manchester. Just London," said Amber.

"Do you travel a lot?" asked John.

Amber nodded. "I travel all the time for work. I'm a model."

"You definitely look like a model," said John with a smile. "What kind of modeling do you do?"

"Swimsuit and lingerie," said Amber with a coy smile.

"I do swimsuit as well," said John.

"You're a model too?"

John nodded.

"Must be hard having an eight year old daughter; what with the hectic schedules and everything."

"She is with an au pair most of the time," said John sullenly.

"I would love to meet her sometime," said Amber absently.

"Sure, how about after breakfast?"

Amber was stunned at his outright acceptance of the invitation.

John tried to contain his laughter at Amber's look of shock.

"I thought you models ate lightly," said John indicating the three plates of food that Amber had polished off.

"Most of them do," said Amber. "I think I have a tapeworm or something because I can eat and eat and not gain an inch. Most models hate me for that."

"I definitely do," said John with a light-hearted chuckle. "I have to watch what I eat too. Luckily I burn off a lot when I work out for four hours every day."

"I thought my one hour of working out every day was a lot," said Amber with a smile.

"You make me sick," said John with the warmest of smiles. His smile warmed Amber to the core of her soul. She realized she was falling in love.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dave was absently twirling the straw in his drink and giving up hope that Becca was going to come down to see him. She was now almost a half hour late.

"You want another, Sir?" said the bartender.

Dave nodded and pushed his Sail and Sign card towards the bartender.

"Hey good lookin," said Becca from behind him. It had nearly startled him in the funk that he was in.

"I'd nearly given up on you," said Dave trying to appear angry but secretly elated that she had arrived.

"I'm so sorry. Never expect a model to be on time anywhere," said Becca with a grin. "We have to look just perfect when we go out in public, you know."

"You look perfect enough for me," said Dave. He knew it was a sappy comment but Becca deserved it.

"Take off this makeup and it's a different story," said Becca with a shrug.

"I saw you without it this morning and you looked wonderful," said Dave.

"Awww," purred Becca. She snuggled in next to Dave and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"What do you want to drink?" asked Dave.

"Little early to drink, isn't it?" said Becca.

"Like Alan Jackson said, 'it's five o'clock somewhere in the world.' Besides, you're on vacation."

"Well, if you put it that way I will have a Chardonnay."

Dave nodded to the bartender and got his attention. "Throw a Chardonnay on my card while you're at it."

"So what would you like to do today?" said Becca. Her hand was now on Dave's shoulder. She was still standing behind him.

"I heard they are doing some kind of lecture at eleven on what to do and what not to do in Cozumel."

"You don't need to go to that," said Becca. "I've been there plenty of times. I think I'll make a pretty good guide."

"Are you propositioning me for a date tomorrow?" asked Dave.

Becca nodded her head feigning shyness.

"Well, I accept," said Dave. "I couldn't think of a better person to spend the day at Cozumel with."

"Well, maybe Lisa," said Becca shyly.

"We aren't mentioning her," said Dave with a smile. "This is just you and me and a lot of fun for the rest of the week."

"Oh, rest of the week, huh?" said Becca with a giggle. "That's mighty presumptuous of you."

"Hey, no pressures. If we just become friends that's fine with me. I just like spending time with you."

"I like spending time with you too," said Becca. Then she smiled. "And you're really hot too."

Dave blushed and then started laughing. He knew it was going to be one heck of a day no matter what happened.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hi Emily," said John as he approached his daughter. She was dressed in a tankini and had the same deep bronze tan as her father. Her hair was dark and in cute little curls that cascaded over her shoulders.

"Daddy?" said Emily. She was confused as to why her father was coming to get her so soon after dropping her off.

"I want you to meet someone sweetie," said John. "This young lady is Amber. She wanted to meet you."

"Hi Emily," said Amber. She offered her hand and Emily shook it. "It's nice to meet you. Your dad said lots of nice things about you."

"You're very pretty," said Emily. "Are you interested in my daddy?"

John chuckled nervously and then patted Emily on the head. "I'll be back at lunch time and we'll spend the rest of the day together pumpkin."

"Ok, Daddy," said Emily. She quickly ran off and joined the other kids.

"She's a little darling," said Amber.

"She's the most important person in my life," said John. "I would do anything for that little girl. She knows it too. Spoiled little bugger, she is."

"Would you like to tan with me this morning?" asked Amber.

"Sure, but I'll have you know that I'm giving up part of my workout for this."

"You're on vacation," said Amber. "Screw the exercise."

"Easy for you to say Ms. Three Plate Breakfast."

"I got some lotion in my bag. We can lotion each other up and lay out for a bit."

"Why not?" said John throwing up his hands in mock defeat.

John and Amber headed out to the Lido deck. John was surprised when she didn't grab a chair on the Lido deck but rather headed upstairs. When John saw the sign on the second set of stairs he knew where she was going. The topless sunbathing deck.

John was used to the topless beaches in Europe so the topless deck was no big shakes to him. Still he blushed when some of the women tanning up there looked at him as if he were a spying pervert.

Amber removed her top and John nearly swallowed his tongue after seeing her beautiful round breasts.

"Turn around," said Amber.

John turned around. He heard Amber getting some lotion out and then warming it up. Then Amber's hands were all over his body applying the lotion. She was skillful in what she did. She didn't linger anywhere for too long, all business, but she still made it feel incredible.

John then took the bottle from Amber and started applying it to her. Amber enjoyed his strong muscular hands as they caressed her body. John wasn't the least bit shy about applying the lotion to her ass cheeks or any other part of her body. Amber was actually a little disappointed that it didn't seem to affect him very much at all, especially down in his Speedo where it counted.

After John was finished they each finished lotioning the rest of their bodies. They then picked out two lounges and lay out on their backs. Amber had to clench her legs a bit to hide the growing wet spot in her thong. She was amazed how unflinching John was around her. She figured he was used to being around models. He certainly wasn't the stereotypical male model. That much was for sure. Most male models were just full of themselves. John was confident in his appearance but not to the point where it was annoying. She was definitely looking forward to getting to know John better as the cruise progressed. Hopefully most of it would be in the bedroom.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dave and Becca ended up spending the entire day together. They started by taking a leisurely stroll around the ship. After that they relaxed together in the hot tub at the back of the ship. After hot-tubing they had lunch at the Lido buffet. During the afternoon Dave decided he wanted to try out a trivia challenge. Becca was reluctant to go but in the interest of making Dave happy she went. Becca ended up winning the challenge and got a cheap little plastic trophy as her prize along with a bottle of champagne.

After the trivia challenge the couple went out to the Lido deck and enjoyed a few drinks out in the hot sun. They grabbed two loungers right next to each other and soaked in the sun while holding hands. After a couple hours in the sun it was time to get ready for dinner.

Dave walked Becca back to her room. Once they were outside of her room Dave stopped Becca and turned her towards him.

"I had a wonderful day today," said Dave.

"I did too," said Becca. She was trying to suppress a blush.

"You really are a lot of fun to be with. I hope we can spend more time together on this cruise."

"I'm already looking forward to tomorrow in Cozumel," said Becca with a grin.

"Maybe we could go dancing tonight?" asked Dave with hope in his eyes.

"I would love that," gushed Becca. "It's been so long since I've been asked out dancing."

"We can stay in our formal clothes and really have fun," said Dave.

"Sounds romantic," whispered Becca. She leaned in slightly, her eyes boring into Dave's blue eyes.

Dave leaned in as well, drinking in her soul though her Irish green eyes. Their lips touched briefly, softly. Dave leaned in more and placed a firmer kiss on her lips. Becca steadied herself by wrapping her arms around Dave's waist. Dave's hands found Becca's hips. Becca's eyes closed as she deepened the kiss, probing Dave's mouth with her tongue. Dave ran his hands up the side of her body, brushing the sides of her breasts. His hands drifted around the tops of her breasts and onto her shoulders and then back down the tops of her arms. Dave broke the kiss and sighed.

"That was wonderful," gasped Dave.

"Yeah," whispered Becca. She was on a different plane of existence.

"I should probably go so you can get ready for dinner," said Dave.

"Yeah...sure..."

Dave leaned in and kissed her once more. It was a short kiss, but full of passion and life. Dave tried to walk calmly down to the elevator and not skip down the hall like he wanted to do.

Becca pulled out her room key and entered her room. Amber was in there naked and in front of the mirror putting on her makeup for dinner.

"Becca, I had the most interesting day!" exclaimed Amber as Becca passed her.

"Me too," said Becca with a smile.

"I met this guy," said Amber. Becca rolled her eyes. She was going to get another story about some guy she met and had wild sex with. "He was so much different than any other guy I've ever met. There's just something about him."

"How many times did you two have sex so far?" asked Becca casually.

"None," said Amber. "That's just it. We spent the morning together and in the afternoon he spent time with his daughter. I thought about him all afternoon. I'm meeting him tonight at the Hollywood dance club."

"You're stuck on this guy and you haven't even had sex with him?" said Becca with mock drama in her voice.

"Yes! I think I'm falling for the guy! Go figure."

"Yeah, go figure," said Becca with a giggle.

"How was your day with Dave?" asked Amber.

"Dreamy," said Becca with a sigh. "He really made good on his promise to put his past behind him and just enjoy the day. He is so much fun to be around. That and he's an awesome kisser."

"Just be careful Becca. He seems like a very nice guy but don't get too hooked on him. It's likely you won't see him again after the cruise."

"I know," said Becca. She pulled off her swimming suit and headed to the shower. She ran the water in the shower for a minute to get it hot and then stepped inside. The water felt good as it washed off all the salt water from earlier in the day in the hot tub.

Becca started thinking about Dave and his bulging muscles and his firm and hairy chest. She loved the thought of being in those strong arms feeling safe and protected. She thought about how loving his kisses were earlier, how gentle yet how masculine they were. She gently kneaded her breasts as she thought about his tongue dancing with hers. One hand drifted down between her legs as the thought of his hands running up the sides of her body gave her a chill of ecstasy.

Becca imagined how those strong hands would feel cupping her breasts. A light moan escaped her lips as her fingers deftly worked her clit. Becca imagined those strong hands cupping her ass as he shoved his manhood into her. She came hard, screaming Dave's name in the process. Her legs trembled so bad that she almost fell down in the shower.

Becca panted in exhaustion as she finished her shower. When she came out of the bathroom she caught Amber's knowing stare and blushed furiously.

"You've got it bad for Dave," said Amber with a giggle.

Becca nodded and then blushed even more.

"Don't feel bad, you aren't the first person to do what you did in the shower today," said Amber. "John's got me worked up in a tizzy too."

Both girls giggled and then finished getting ready for dinner. At eight-o-clock there was a knock at the door. Amber went and got the door, knowing it was Dave coming to pick Becca up for the evening.

Amber opened the door and gasped at the man standing in front of her. It was Dave and he looked stunning. He was wearing a black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie. His hair was cut shorter than before and he was clean shaven.

"There's a waiter at the door to see you, Becca," joked Amber.

"What are you talking about?" asked Becca as she got up out of her chair. When Becca saw Dave standing there in his tuxedo she thought she was going to lose consciousness. She thought he was handsome before but now he was like a god.

Dave also liked what he saw from both of the girls. Amber was dressed in a short cut red dress that was off the shoulder and showed quite a bit of cleavage. It was very sexy but too slutty for Dave's tastes. Becca on the other hand also had an off the shoulder dress but in black. The dress went down to her knees and had a suggestive slit going up to nearly her waist. It was sexy but less suggestive than Amber's dress.

"Are we ready for dinner ladies?" asked Dave.

"You escorting both of us down?" asked Amber.

"I wouldn't be a gentleman if I didn't," said Dave with a warm smile. "Besides, I will be the talk of the ship with the two most beautiful women on board on my arms."

"He's a smooth talker this one," said Amber with a giggle.

"Would the loveliest woman here hold out her wrist for me?" asked Dave.

Amber held out her wrist and then Becca beat it down and presented her wrist. Both girls giggled like little girls. Dave had one hand behind his back the entire time and it held a white carnation corsage with baby red roses nested inside. He placed the corsage on Becca's hand carefully. Becca brought it up to her nose to smell in and then started crying.

"Thank you so much Dave," said Becca. "This is starting out to be such a magical evening."

"Hopefully it will continue that way," said Dave with confidence in his voice. "Let's go eat."

He offered his arms to each lady and then escorted them down to dinner.

The evening was formal night on board the ship. Everyone turned out in the finery to dine and then attend the Broadway style show after dinner. The dinner went well with the threesome making small talk throughout. A delicious Baked Alaska was served for dessert and even Becca, who was watching what she ate, couldn't pass it up. After dinner, Amber met up with John leaving Dave and Becca alone. Dave and Becca headed for the Captain's cocktail party first and loosened up with a few drinks. It was too loud to converse at the party so they found a quiet club on the ship with piano music that they could dance to if the mood struck them.

Dave and Becca found a secluded little table in the club and stared into each others eyes as the soothing piano music added to their amorous feelings for one another.

"Care to dance?" asked Dave after a few songs of just staring at one another.

"I would love to," said Becca.

Dave stood and took Becca's hand. Becca rose daintily and followed Dave out to the dance floor. It was all slow dancing, just the way Dave wanted it. Becca, being much shorter than Dave, had to settle for leaning her head on Dave's chest instead of just kissing him throughout the dances. Every once in a while she would get up on her toes and plant a kiss on his lips.

"I'm really having a good time tonight," said Becca with a content sigh after a couple songs of dancing.

"Me too," said Dave. "I haven't danced since Lisa...oh shit..."

"It's ok," said Becca. "I don't want you to forget all the wonderful times you've had together. You can even talk about her if you like."

"But before you said that..."

"Just don't compare me to her and we will be fine," said Becca. She stood on her toes and gave Dave another kiss.

"She really liked to dance," said Dave in almost a whisper.

"It shows," said Becca. "You're a wonderful dancer. I probably have Lisa to thank for that."

"Yeah."

"Did she like to slow dance like this?"

"Listen Becca," said Dave. "I would love to go down Memory Lane with you but not now. I want us to have a good time as Dave and Becca and forget about Lisa for right now. The real Dave is just fun to be with and talking about Lisa makes Dave depressed Dave. We don't want depressed Dave. We want fun and loveable Dave."

Becca giggled and then gave Dave another kiss.

"Thank you," said Becca.

"You're welcome," said Dave. "You and I might not have a lot of time together so I want to make the most of it. It's not often you run into someone as charming and beautiful as you are. I want as much time with you as I can get."

"You know how to say just the right things," said Becca. She grinned from ear to ear.

"It's not a line," said Dave. "One of the things you will learn about me is I rarely tell people things just to make them feel good. One of my flaws is that I'm brutally honest with people."

"So be brutally honest with me. What is my biggest flaw?" said Becca.

"You don't give yourself enough credit. You measure yourself against impossible standards when you really are better than most people out there."

"I don't understand," said Becca.

"Take Amber for instance," said Dave. "I know you're jealous of her. I know you hate how she attracts men to her like bees to honey. The thing is that you are every bit as good looking as she is or you wouldn't be a model. Sure you might not have her figure but you are both beautiful for different reasons. Her looks are an impossible standard for you to reach. You let that cloud your judgment of your own accomplishments and your own looks."

"Wow, you're starting to sound like Amber with all of her psychology crap she's always spouting off to me."

"I'm just observant," said Dave. "Call it the real Dave."

"I like the real Dave," said Becca with a warm smile.

"I like the real Becca," said Dave. He leaned down and kissed Becca tenderly.

"You make me feel like such a princess," said Becca. "No other man has ever done that for me."

"You're kidding me, right?"

Becca shook her head. "Most guys treat me like shit."

"I find that hard to believe. You are such a wonderful woman. They should have been treating you like a queen."

"I could definitely get used to the way you're treating me," said Becca.

"I could definitely get used to treating you that way," said Dave.

Becca snuggled into Dave's chest and sighed deeply. It was all too good to be true. She was waiting for the other shoe to drop. When was he going to use her and throw her away?

The happy couple danced into the next morning. Dave escorted Becca back to her room at about one in the morning. Once they were outside the door to Becca's room they stopped to kiss.

"Thank you for a wonderful evening," said Dave.

"I should be the one thanking you," said Becca.

Dave leaned down and kissed Becca on the lips. Becca sighed into the kiss with contentment. She was truly happy with Dave. She wanted to get to know Dave better. She wanted Dave to want her for more than just the cruise. Her hand drifted down to the crotch of Dave's pants and over Dave's stiffening member. Dave jerked back at the touch.

"I…um…we shouldn't…your roommate is probably there…"

"You don't have a roommate though," said Becca.

"Oh…um…how do I say this delicately?"

Becca looked crushed. She was figuring the other shoe was going to drop. Tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"You don't want me?" cried Becca.

"I didn't…I…shit."

"What's wrong with me?"

"Nothing," said Dave. He sighed deeply. "It's been awhile since I…well…you know. I just want to be sure of things first. Give me tonight to get my mind wrapped around this first."

"You mean you want to…?"

Dave nodded. "Very much so. Just not tonight."

Becca started crying again.

"What now?" said Dave in exasperation.

"You're so sweet," cried Becca. "You treat me like a princess and you show me you have a conscious. You aren't anything like the other guys I've been with. All they cared about was getting into my panties and then leaving me."

Dave wrapped his arms around Becca. He looked down at her and smiled. "I'm not those other guys. You deserve so much more than those other guys."

"Thank you for tonight David," said Becca. She rose up and kissed him passionately and then abruptly broke the kiss and in one fluid motion grabbed her key, keyed the door and slipped into the room.

Becca was surprised to see Amber sleeping alone in her bed with a huge smile on her face. Becca half expected another man to be in the room with her or for her to not even be there.

Becca sighed contently as she took off her dress. She hung the dress neatly on a hanger and then she carefully removed her stockings and undergarments. She went to the mirror and appraised her now naked body. She wasn't terribly overweight and the extra weight she did have she wore well. There were no rolls or folds. Her breasts were still incredibly firm and attractive. She just wasn't skinny and didn't have the figure that Amber had. She wondered what David saw in her and then she smiled. She saw the beautiful woman in the mirror. She knew she was beautiful but being with people like Amber always clouded her judgment of herself. David was dead right about her. She always shorted herself.

Becca hugged herself and thought of David. She knew she was falling hard for him. She remembered Amber's words of warning. David would be gone in less than a week and it was likely that she would never see him again. That thought caused her breath to catch. She didn't want to lose David. She wanted David to always be a part of her life. She loved David.
